We have a puller, tugger hard to walk rescue dog. (he is part bulldog, pit bull, chow, german sheppard and about 15 other things; yes we did the doggy DNA) We have tried other harnesses which taught him to pull harder and choke chains which didn’t phase him. My family members who have poodles swear by this encouraged us to get one. We were skeptical that something that helped a poodle could really work on our 85 pound beast but it did. First time out there was little pulling and when we approached other dogs there was the pull tugg to engage but with less force and easily brought back to neutral. My spouse stated “don’t know how or why it works but it does”.
